Thanks to its standardized design, the SIRO Smart Room Thermostat SL07116W can be easily installed in the existing flush-mounted box.

With a switch surface measuring 55mm x 55mm, the room thermostat can be installed in many switch frames from brand manufacturers (Busch-Jäger, Berker, Gira, etc.)*. This allows the room thermostat to adapt to your existing home design.

Is it possible to permanently display the time on the thermostat's screen?

The design of the display can be changed in the app. Permanently displaying the time on the screen is currently not possible.

Is the thermostat compatible with my gas boiler with a potential-free switching contact?

The room thermostat SL06116W has a potential-free switching contact at terminals 7 and 8. The model SL06216W has it at terminals 5 and 6.

Are they compatible with any actuator (on the underfloor heating manifold), or are specific actuators required for regulating underfloor heating?

The thermostat is compatible with any actuator.

Is there also a surface-mounted version? Or a suitable flush-mount box?

Currently, we do not offer a surface-mounted version or a suitable flush-mount box.

How do I connect the SIRO Smart Room Thermostat to my Wi-Fi and the Smart Life App?

The thermostat can be easily connected to your Wi-Fi via the Smart Life App. Download the app, create an account, and follow the step-by-step instructions for device setup. The device supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.

Can I also use the SIRO Smart Room Thermostat SL07116W for my underfloor heating?

Yes, the SIRO Thermostat is compatible with underfloor heating systems. It is suitable for both electric and water-based underfloor heating systems and can precisely control the temperature via the integrated NTC sensor.

How does temperature control work with the external and internal sensor?

The device has an internal sensor for room temperature measurement. If required, an external NTC sensor can be connected, which measures the floor temperature for underfloor heating systems, for example. The thermostat automatically detects which sensor should be used.

Can the SIRO Smart Thermostat be controlled with Alexa or Google Assistant?

Yes, the Smart Room Thermostat is fully compatible with both voice assistants. After setting it up in the Smart Life App, you can link it with Alexa or Google and control it via voice command.

How long does the battery last and how is the device powered?

The SIRO Smart Room Thermostat SL07116W is powered directly by the heating system's power supply. It does not require separate batteries, allowing for continuous and maintenance-free use.

What functions do Holiday Mode and Temporary Manual Mode offer?

Holiday Mode maintains an energy-saving minimum temperature while you are away. Temporary Manual Mode allows you to temporarily override the programmed temperature without permanently changing schedules – ideal for spontaneous adjustments.

Is a gateway required to use the SIRO Smart Thermostat?

No, the thermostat connects directly to your router and the Smart Life App via Wi-Fi. A separate gateway is not required, which simplifies installation and saves additional costs.

How can I customize the schedules and permanently display the time?

In the Smart Life App, you can create detailed heating schedules for each day of the week. The time is displayed by default on the screen, but it can also be permanently activated in the settings so that it always remains visible.
