The battery-powered ZigBee sensor (CR2032) reliably detects opening/closing and sends push notifications to your smartphone immediately in case of manipulation or opening - so you can keep an eye on things even from a distance.

The included Bluetooth & ZigBee multi-mode gateway connects your devices via ZigBee, Wi-Fi or BLE and operates energy-efficiently (<1 A) via USB-C. It acts as a stable hub and allows for easy expansion of your system.

Precise heating control & energy saving

The SIRO radiator thermostat ensures precise temperature control and can be linked to the sensor (e.g. "window open → heating off"). Automations and schedules reduce energy consumption and increase living comfort.

How does the SIRO Zigbee Starter Set installation work?

The starter set can be installed without any technical knowledge. First, you connect the gateway to your router, then you add the thermostats and sensors via the app. The entire setup takes about 30-45 minutes.

Which heating types are compatible with the SIRO Zigbee system?

The system works with all common radiators with thermostatic valves. For underfloor heating, you will need special actuators. The thermostats fit valves with M30 x 1.5 mm thread; adapters for other sizes are included in the scope of delivery.

Can I combine the SIRO Zigbee system with other smart home devices?

Yes, the system can be networked with all Zigbee-compatible devices from various manufacturers. You can also integrate it into existing systems like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant and control it via voice commands.

How long do the batteries in the thermostats and sensors last?

The battery life is approximately 12-18 months with normal use. The Smart Life app will notify you in good time about low battery levels. Standard AA batteries are used, which you can easily replace yourself.

What is the advantage of the multimode gateway over a simple hub?

In addition to Zigbee, the multimode gateway also supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. This allows you to use different smart home standards simultaneously and gives you more flexibility when expanding your system.

How many devices can I connect to the gateway at most?

A SIRO Zigbee gateway can manage up to 50 devices simultaneously. This is sufficient for automating a complete single-family home with all rooms and windows.

Does the heating control also work without an internet connection?

Yes, once programmed schedules and automations continue to run without an internet connection. An active internet connection is only required for control via smartphone when you are on the go and for software updates.
