Product description

Compact SIRO Window/Heating Bundle — Your Entry into the Smart Home

The SIRO bundle combines a door/window sensor, multimode gateway, and radiator thermostat into an instantly ready-to-use smart home starter kit. Ideal for beginners who want to experience security, comfort, and heating cost optimization in one device.

Reliable door & window sensors for enhanced security

The battery-powered ZigBee sensor (CR2032) reliably detects opening/closing and immediately sends push notifications to your smartphone in the event of tampering or opening — so you can keep an eye on things even when you're away.

Multimode gateway: ZigBee, Wi-Fi, BLE & Mesh

The included Bluetooth & ZigBee multimode gateway connects your devices via ZigBee, Wi-Fi, or BLE and operates energy efficiently (<1 A) via USB-C. It serves as a stable hub and allows you to easily expand your system.

Precise heating control & energy savings

The SIRO radiator thermostat ensures precise temperature control and can be linked with the sensor (e.g., "Window open → Heating off"). Automations and schedules reduce energy consumption and increase living comfort.

Easy control via the Smart Life app

All components are controlled via the free Smart Life app: scenes, schedules, and real-time notifications can be set up in just a few clicks. Thanks to ZigBee compatibility, the system can be expanded at any time with additional sensors, light sources, or thermostats.

FAQ

How do I install the SIRO Zigbee Starter Set?

The starter set can be installed without any prior technical knowledge. First, connect the gateway to your router, then add the thermostats and sensors using the app. The entire setup takes approximately 30–45 minutes.

Which heating systems are compatible with the SIRO Zigbee system?

The system works with all standard radiators equipped with a thermostatic valve. For underfloor heating, you will need special actuators. The thermostats fit valves with an M30 x 1.5 mm thread; adapters for other sizes are included.

Can I combine the SIRO Zigbee system with other smart home devices?

Yes, the system can be connected to all Zigbee-compatible devices from various manufacturers. You can also integrate it into existing systems such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant and control it using voice commands.

How long do the batteries in the thermostats and sensors last?

With normal use, the batteries last approximately 12–18 months. The Smart Life app will notify you in good time when the battery level is low. It uses standard AA batteries, which you can easily replace yourself.

What is the advantage of the Multimode Gateway over a simple hub?

In addition to Zigbee, the Multimode Gateway also supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. This allows you to use various smart home standards simultaneously and gives you greater flexibility when expanding your system.

What is the maximum number of devices I can connect to the gateway?

A SIRO Zigbee Gateway can manage up to 50 devices at the same time. This is sufficient for automating an entire single-family home, including all rooms and windows.

Does the heating control also work without an internet connection?

Yes, once programmed, schedules and automations will continue to run without an internet connection. You only need an active internet connection to control the system from your smartphone while away and to perform software updates.

How much energy can I save with the SIRO Zigbee system?

Intelligent schedules and automatic temperature reduction when windows are open save an average of 20–30% on heating costs. The exact savings depend on your heating habits and the building's insulation.
